1. Who is responsible for your data
mobquickrefill, located at 6HGM+RJP, 18th street, Manama, Bahrain, is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Questions and requests should be sent to support@mobquickrefill.org.
2. What we collect and why
To process a top-up, we need:
- Mobile number — the number we credit. Stored for the duration of dispute and refund windows (six months by default).
- Email address — for the receipt and for support replies. Stored for the same window.
- Payment data — card brand, last four digits, expiry month/year, transaction amount and timestamp. Full card numbers are never stored.
- Technical data — IP address, user agent and basic page-load events. Used for fraud prevention and for fixing bugs. Stored for ninety days.
3. Legal basis
We process this data on the basis of performance of a contract (executing the top-up you ordered) and a legitimate interest in preventing fraud and meeting accounting obligations.
4. Who has access
- Our support and finance teams in Manama.
- Our card payment gateway, on a least-privilege basis, to process the transaction and any refund.
- The relevant mobile network in Bahrain — receives only the phone number and the amount.
We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not transfer data outside Bahrain except as required by the payment gateway to authorise the card.
5. Cookies and trackers
We use a small number of functional cookies, listed on the cookies page. We do not place advertising or third-party analytics scripts on the checkout subdomain (pay.mobquickrefill.org).
6. Your rights
Under Bahrain's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 30 of 2018) you have the right to access your data, ask us to correct it, request deletion subject to legal retention windows, and lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Authority. To exercise any of these rights, write to support@mobquickrefill.org with the subject line Privacy request.
7. Children
The service is not intended for users under 18. If you believe a minor has used the service, contact us and we will delete the related order and personal data without delay.
8. Changes to this policy
Material changes will be summarised at the top of this page with a new "Last updated" date.
